The other day, I went down to Kasumigaseki to have a quick dinner. However, when I walked around Kasumigaseki, I couldn't find any restaurants. This city is famous for having many ministries and offices. There are several security guards standing in front of the ministry gate. There are also many skyscrapers.
Therefore, it may not be compatible with restaurants. Before I knew it, I had arrived at Toranomon from Kasumigaseki. Toranomon also has very few restaurants, so I had no choice but to go to Yoshinoya.
Since I was planning to have dinner in Shinbashi in 2 hours, I decided to have a light meal at Yoshinoya. You can charge your smartphone at Yoshinoya in Toranomon.
As far as I know, I've never seen a Yoshinoya that allows charging, not even the Ebisu store. I'm only talking about the Toranomon store. Orders are placed on a tablet, so there is no need to call out.
This time I ordered a beef bowl with fried chicken.
I mistakenly added salad dressing to fried chicken. It will be ready in just 4 minutes after ordering. This is a really stable taste and finished eating in about 5 minutes. I still had some time before my meeting, so I killed time at Yoshinoya for a while. There aren't many people, so you can relax and recharge your batteries. If it had been crowded, I would have found it difficult to chill out.
After leaving Toranomon, I was planning to take a train to Shinbashi Station, but according to Google Maps it was close, so I decided to walk. When I told my friend about it, he said it was a long way, but since I love walking, I don't mind it at all.
In Shinbashi, I went to a certain izakaya on Ginza Namiki-street. Unfortunately, I forgot the store name and couldn't find it when I searched for it. But it's not an izakaya that I would recommend, so I guess it's okay.
This is the yuba that I actually ordered.
When you boil soy milk, it creates film on the surface. This film is called yuba. Yuba has a taste that is difficult to describe in words, so if you have the chance, please try it once.
Other things I ordered were dried mullet roe soba and Japanese omelette.
Japanese omelette(Dashimaki tamago) is a standard at izakaya. I think it's safe to say that this is the Japanese people's favorite appetizer. Mullet roe soba has a healthy taste, so it is recommended for people who want to lose weight.
