Maika is located about 5 minutes walk from Ebisu Statue. I think it's hard to get lost because you just go straight down the same path. Maika is a popular restaurant with long lines of people during the day. This is an old-fashioned restaurant with a Showa-era feel. When I actually tried it, I understood why it was loved by so many people.

The standard menu here is chashu ramen or hoikoro set meal. Everything else is delicious. A taste that makes you want to repeat it. If you don't like waiting in line, it's best to avoid lunch time. It's not too crowded around 3pm.

2：Curry Udon Senkichi

A eatery just across the traffic light from Ebisu Station. This restaurant is not just a curry udon here. It's so delicious that even I, a Japanese person, was surprised. There is a wide variety of menu items unique to the restaurant, such as pork cutlet on top of noodles and Italian-flavored curry udon.

Not only is it unique, but it's also easy to eat. Especially in winter, it soak into your body. It's also great to add rice to the leftover soup to make it zosui style. I wasn't originally a big fan of curry udon, but after meeting Senkichi, I became hooked.

They are particular about using only domestic ingredients, so you can truly enjoy the taste of Made in Japan. The concept of Senkichi is to enjoy it with all five senses. So feel free to enjoy authentic curry udon.

3：SHAKESHAK

SHAKESHAK is located on the 1st floor of Atre Ebisu Building in front of the station. It's almost the same location as the station, so it's easy to access. This is a hamburger specialty with about 14 stores nationwide. However, when I looked around the the customers, I didn't see many people eating hamburgers.

They chat over drinks or work at their desks. I used it to talk to business partners or kill time. A small iced tea costs 270 yen including tax. It's a good deal because you can relax and just pay about 300 yen. Recommended for people who want to save money. Of course, the hamburgers at this restaurant are delicious, so if you're interested, please give them a try. By the way, if you just want to sit on a chair, there are free benches inside the Atre Ebisu facility.

4：TANDOOR

TANDOOR is an Indian restaurant located near Ebisu Station. It's next to the KFC sign. TANDOOR's server is very friendly and nice. In the city, there are many shops with unfriendly customer service, but this one warms your heart. The cuisine is also elaborate. Naan seems to be the standard, but I purposely ordered the menu below.

For women, it may be too much junk to eat, but for adult men, I think it's just right. We also enjoyed other drinks unique to India.

5：NIKUAZABU

In short, NIKUAZABU is a Yakiniku（barbecue） restaurant. Generally speaking, yakiniku has the image of being difficult to go on a first date, but that's not the case at this restaurant. The overall vibe is casual, so you'll feel like you're in a japanese pub. The prices are not that high for a yakiniku restaurant.

I have also used NIKUAZABU on a date, and the girl was very satisfied. Choosing a good restaurant will help you become more popular. In fact, the meat at NIKUAZABU is melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and I'd definitely go there even by myself. I think you can enjoy yakiniku by yourself at the counter seats without worry about how others see me.
